How to apply for one of our loans
Just like our loans, we've kept our application process simple. It only takes a few minutes to complete, and you'll know if you've been initially approved in less than a minute.
Eligibility criteria
Before you apply, there are a few things to check.
To qualify for one of our loans, you need to:
- Be over 18 years of age
- Be a resident of the UK
- Have a regular income
...and not have been declared bankrupt, applied for a sequestration, had a Debt Relief Order on an Individual Voluntary Agreement in the last 6 years.
You also need to live in the same business area as a Morses Club Customer Service Representative - we'll be able to check this for you based on your address details.
If you think you tick all these boxes then you can get started!
We offer loans between £200 and £750 for new customers and between £100 and £1500 for existing customers.
Are you an existing customer? You may be able to request further credit - speak to your Customer Service Representative for more information
Our online application process is simple and only takes a couple of minutes. Apply online or on the go with your mobile.
We'll use the details you supplied to run a quick check to see if you're eligible for a loan.
We run a credit check as part of this process – find out more here
Once approved in principle, we'll arrange a convenient time for a local Customer Service Representative to come and complete your loan application at your home.
When you meet with your Customer Service Representative they will do an affordability assessment to evidence your income and outgoings so we can ensure your loan is manageable.
Once your loan application has been approved, you can have your money deposited directly into your bank account.
With our Customer App you can manage your loan securely - find out more here
Less than perfect credit
If you have less-than-perfect credit, there's no need to be put off; we assess each application individually. As long as you have not been declared bankrupt, applied for a sequestration or had a Debt Relief Order on an Individual Voluntary Agreement in the last 6 years, you will be considered for a Morses Club Loan.
Affordability assessment
We conduct an affordability assessment for each loan so you’ll also need to provide evidence of income, and outgoings where possible. You can find a list of the documents we’ll accept here.

Repayment
Your Customer Service Representative will make sure that you understand exactly how much your loan will cost and what your weekly repayments will be.
Your first repayment will be collected 7 days after you receive your loan and then weekly until you have repaid your loan in full. Click here for more information and tips on managing your loan.
