Bad Credit loans

Loans for people struggling with bad credit

If you've found it hard to get a loan because of bad credit - Morses Club may be able to help. Whether it's £100 or £400, once you've been accepted for a loan you're free to spend the money however you need to.

Can I apply for a loan if I have a bad credit history?

A poor credit score can make it difficult to secure a loan from traditional sources, especially if you've been refused credit elsewhere. If you've suffered with credit problems like CCJs or defaulted payments, you will still be considered for a Morses Club loan.

Our loans are finalised in person and we look at each application individually.*

What is a Credit Score?

Your Credit Score is a measure of your creditworthiness and is based on your Credit History. In simple terms, this means that the way you've handled your finances in the past determine your current credit score.

There are lots of factors which go into creating your credit score, and it changes based on your behaviour – so if you take out a loan or apply for credit this will have an impact on your score.

The three main Credit Reference Agencies in the UK that determine your Credit Score are Experian, Equifax and CallCredit – you can go online at any of their websites and find out your Credit Score for free.

For definitions of other common financial terms, take a look at our jargon buster.
